Hidden among the sun-kissed hills of Italy, centuries-old olive trees grew which gave black Nostranelle olives, a treasure of local food and wine.
The farmers, with care and respect for tradition, picked the olives at the right time, when they reached perfect ripeness.
The olives were then skilfully processed and stored in a natural brine which enhanced their intense flavor and rich aroma.
Each olive told the story of a generous land and of the millenary art of growing and processing olives.
