Pesto alla ligure

Ligurian pesto is the perfect condiment for trofie or trenette, the traditional pasta of Genoese cuisine. Just a couple of spoonfuls per serving, mixed hot with a little cooking water, will create a velvety and fragrant cream. You can also add it to pesto lasagna for a rich and flavorful first course.

Olive oil, fresh basil (23%), cashews, milk powder, lactose, corn starch, melted cheese powder (milk, whey), salt, garlic, Pecorino Romano (sheep's milk, salt, rennet), Parmigiano Reggiano (cow's milk, rennet, salt), pine nuts (0.06%).

After opening, cover with a drizzle of oil and keep refrigerated.
