We preserve to pass down dreams and flavors in a glass embrace.
Dried mushrooms
After closing the family construction business, Graziano and his father Guido started selling dried mushrooms from Garfagnana, where they lived with their family.
Every week they would set off in a car loaded with dried porcini mushrooms towards Bergamo, where they would divide them into packages and sell them.
Formation of the company
In 1967, after returning to Bergamo, Graziano, together with his wife Maria, founded F.lli Belotti S.r.l. and settled in the old Belotti family homes.
They began to expand their business with the first pickled mushrooms.
The first self-adhesive label
The business was growing, the product range was increasing, and in this context, an important transition occurred: the first self-adhesive label.
This streamlined the production process, allowing them to focus on product quality.
Investments in advanced machinery
The second step towards an ever-larger enterprise was the first packaging line with a pasteurizer.
This was the definitive step that marked the transition from a small business to a family food company that could boast extremely high quality and industrial-level food safety.
The Renovation
At the beginning of the new millennium came a choice that was not just economic.
Graziano, along with his son Alessandro, chose to settle permanently in the Lujo Valley, renovating the old family homes and creating what is still the most unique food preserve company ever seen.
Nestled in the mountains above, it enjoys a unique view of the valley from the production windows on the second floor.
A new international label
Years passed and the need arose to change our image.
During this restyling, a second language was added to the labels with a view to future internationalization.
The rebranding
After more than 10 years, it was time to innovate.
We didn't just think about a new label, but we developed the brand and the communication strategy.
What remained unchanged were our values, our mission, and our vision.
France
The opportunity arose with the first international fair: Sirha Lyon 2025.
This was followed by further investments in Paris, Croatia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Australia, and Japan.
Not a group, a family.
Throughout our long history, we have created more than just a range of tinned foods. We have collaborated with Michelin-starred chefs, created product lines for large-scale retail, luxury hotels, shops, wine bars, bars, and restaurants. We have established a cutting-edge research and development laboratory where we safeguard our know-how and develop new expertise.
All of this needed to be told, and to do so, we created a dedicated brand: the Belotti family brand.
Our values
Tradition
For us, tradition is something that must be preserved, and to do so, it must necessarily be innovated.
Safety and precision
Two values that translate into consistency, quality, processing methods and food safety checks.
Wonder
It's more than a value, it's the foundation of our method.
Authenticity
The simplicity of the selected raw materials, of products with few ingredients, of recipes with only the essentials.
Our commitment to the environment
12.7 million liters of water reused per year.
Thanks to a water cooling system, we can reuse 75% of the water employed in production processes, saving 48,000 liters of water per day.
Renewable energy and materials.
Thanks to a photovoltaic system that covers almost all our production needs and our policy of purchasing renewable materials such as our fully recycled and recyclable cellophane, we can minimize our environmental impact.
Local farmers
We have established long-standing relationships and provided financial assistance to farmers who wanted to settle in the Bergamo area to safeguard typical varieties such as the Moscatello Cucumber.
